Gan & Zul's Visit to the National Bar Association of Taiwan for Exchange

Senior Partner Mr. Gan Ping Sieu from Gan & Zul Law Firm recently participated in the "Malaysian Bar Council Taiwan Legal Visit Delegation," visiting Taiwan for in-depth exchanges with the National Bar Association and legal professionals in Taiwan. The event was presided over by Ms. Yu Mei Nu, the Chairperson of the Taipei Bar Association. Ms. Yu Mei Nu is a human rights lawyer and a representative of women in Taiwan, having served as the founding Chairperson of the "Taiwan Alliance to Promote Civil Partnership," dedicated to advocating for the "Same-Sex Marriage Act." It's worth noting that Taiwan is currently the only country in Asia that recognizes same-sex marriage.

During the opening ceremony, Ms. Yu Mei Nu and others introduced the legal system and rule of law environment in Taiwan to the visiting delegation.
