Ms Nilam read law at Universiti Malaya (UM) and successfully obtained her LL.B. (Hons) degree in 2022. She then completed her nine-month pupillage in 2023 at Messrs Zain Megat & Murad and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2024. In the same year, she has joined the esteemed firm of Messrs Gan & Zul.

As a Junior Associate, her practice is primarily focused on property conveyancing matters. Her experience includes handling sale and purchase transactions, banking matters for both conventional and Islamic facilities, perfection of transfer and charge, as well as other general conveyancing work. 

Through her committed role at the Firm, she has gained valuable exposures while continuously developing her technical skills and practical proficiency in conveyancing practice.
